Mr. Ian Watson is the music director of Craver Middle School and Rye High School. He is in his 5th year of teaching secondary music and his third year at Craver and Rye.

Mr. Watson is an accomplished and experienced musician. He performed in multiple ensembles throughout high school, college and continues to perform. 

​

Mr. Watson is a former member of the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps (2009, Shiver, a winter in Colorado Tour).  Playing the Contrabass Bugle (Marching Tuba). Mr. Watson has performed in Jazz Band, Concert Bands, Brass Quintets, Opera, Mens Choir, Marching Bands, Soloist. Performing on Tuba, Baritone, Trombone, Bassoon and Percussion.

Mr. Watson is married to Brynne Watson and has two children, Katerina and Alisdair.

Mr. Watsons passions are music, cooking, hiking, hunting, military history and aviation.
